About This Position:
We are looking for a Part Time and Full Time Kitchen Workers to Join us at the Columbia County Jail in St Helens, OR.
Available Full Time Hours:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:
30 am - 3:
30 pm Available Part Time schedule:
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ( half day on Wednesday) 11:
00am-6:
30pm
Responsibilities:
Will Cook a buffet style lunch for 40 officers Will overlook the salad bar Will be working alongside inmates in the facility kitchen Refers to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties and completes opening and closing checklists daily.
Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Must be comfortable using and operating a variety of equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
Knows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, recipes, policies, and procedures.
Be able to multitask in a high-volume kitchen.
This role includes physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) Company or Facility background check and drug screening and/or any other screenings required by the Facility Preferred:
Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus
